Shape Shift

With summertime on the way, it’s time to shape up. The round brilliant may still be the most favored diamond cut, but renewed interest in fancy shapes is shaking things up. Designers of diamond jewelry are now mixing shapes, rather than matching them. Many new styles have three or more shapes in the same piece. The result is not only more drama but also an air of nostalgia and novelty at the same time. While the juxtaposition of different cuts is making its way into traditional jewelry set with white diamonds, fancy colored diamond jewelry is leading the way. Mixing both colors and shapes give these designs even more added flair.
